Ken and Horace started working together in 2001
We are a small group of energetic and experienced Productivity Improvement specialists, Locum Managers / Manufacturing Engineers having more than fifty years experience in helping clients improve productivity. We have practical experience in many different fields including:

Manufacturing,
Retail,
Warehousing,
Banking,
Local Authorities,
Police and others.

Our Project Managers are members of the Institute of Management Services.

We undertake: Turnkey improvement projects, Supply Chain Management and Other key business support assignments.

Ken Best FMS  

An energetic and experienced Locum Manager / Manufacturing Engineer, with Sales and Supply Chain Management experiences. His career spans over 40 years covering a wide range of business sectors. Formerly associated with other consultancies, Ken has produced dramatic step change in key performance criteria as an interim manager. With roots in Industrial Engineering, he is fully conversant with Lean Management and its implementation. Deeply committed to Continual Improvement, Ken has designed and implemented performance monitoring and benchmarking within the UK and Europe. His primary aim is to work within industry to develop and improve productivity within local business communities.

Horace Webster MMS

Horace has worked in business management for over 30 years. Using Business Solutions to improve productivity and performance. He was the locum manager of a company in Northumberland for five years with responsibilities for manufacturing, production, plant maintenance, planning and logistics. Experienced Consultant Industrial Engineer/Locum Manager. Spent the last 30 + years undertaking a range of methods / productivity improvement projects within manufacturing and other industries. Developed and installed various Payroll, Incentive, Production Control, and also computer programmes based on Microsoft Office applications.
Trained and developed staff to maintain the programmes, Set up Team Building from Steering group to Shop Floor levels including Personal Mentoring. Recently he has concentrated more on the personal Tutoring role specialises in, Office Applications up to Level 3 and one to one tutoring. Ken and Horace have been friends and business associates for a good number of years.
